Rebecca Anderson
Rebecca Anderson, M.S.
ABGC Certified Genetic Counselor

I graduated from the University of Colorado with an M.S. in Genetic Counseling in 1999. Since that time, I have worked at the University of Chicago. I currently manage several research projects for Dr. Carole Ober. The objectives of the projects are to identify genes that influence complex traits. The focus is on phenotypes related to fertility and common diseases through studies conducted in a founder population, the Hutterites, and in outbred patient populations. In addition, I coordinate disclosure of results to the Hutterites for monogenic conditions.
