General Genetics Clinic

Children and adults are evaluated for a broad range of genetic conditions in the General Genetics Clinic. Genetic counseling, evaluation, and state of the art diagnostic testing are available. Clinics are held on Friday. For appointments call 773-834-9110.

Craniofacial/Cleft Lip and Palate Clinic

The Craniofacial Clinic is a multidisciplinary clinic that provides specialists from Genetics, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Pediatrics, Audiology, Speech Pathology, and Orthodontics. Clinics are held in the morning on the first and third Thursday of each month. For appointments call 773-702-4111.

Neurogenetics Clinic

Children and adults are evaluated and followed in the multidisciplinary Neurogenetics clinic which includes specialists from Genetics, Neurology, and Neurosurgery. This clinic serves patients with a broad variety of neurogenetic conditions as well as those who have a yet undiagnosed condition. Clinics are held one Thursday afternoon of each month. Dysmorphology Clinic

This clinic is held twice per year and includes a visiting professor, Dr. Helga Toriello, who is an expert in dysmorphology and syndrome recognition. For appointments call 773-834-9110.

Prenatal and Reproductive Genetics Clinic

Prenatal counseling and testing including amniocentesis, detailed ultrasound examination, screening for chromosome abnormalities and carrier screening are offered. Couples who have a family history of birth defects or genetic disorders, as well as pregnant women exposed to potentially harmful agents may benefit from genetic counseling in this clinic. Cancer Risk Clinic

The Cancer Risk Clinic is devoted to the identification and care of individuals with any condition or circumstance associated with an increased risk of cancer. Clinical and laboratory methods are used to assess the risk of future occurrences of cancer in individuals and in families. For appointments call 773-702-8222. Cardiovascular Genetics Clinic

Dr. Elizabeth McNally, a cardiologist and expert on the genetics of heart directs the Cardiovascular Genetics Clinic at the University of Chicago. The clinic provides comprehensive care including diagnosis, treatment and genetic counseling for inherited heart disease. The clinic also serves as a resource to families that are affected by or may be at risk for inherited heart disease. Clinics are held on Thursday afternoons. For appointments call 773-702-4310.

Marfan Clinic

Evaluations for Marfan syndrome and ongoing care of patients diagnosed with Marfan syndrome. The clinic meets on the second Thursday afternoon of each month and includes genetics, pediatric cardiology and adult cardiology. For appointments call 773-702-4310.
